The week at sea

Six days of peace. One night of war.

Everything your crew places is protected: blocks, chests, doors, redstone. Other crews can't break it, open it, blow it up, push it or burn it. Then, once a week, the protection drops.

MonProtected. Build, mine, sail.

FriProtected. Stock the cannons.
SatProtected until 8pm, then Plunder Night until 11pm.
SunProtected. Count the loot.

Times are US Eastern.

Getting started

From the dock to your own island

Form a crew

Type /crew create and invite up to three mates. Or join someone else's.

Claim an island

Grab a free boat from the Harbormaster, sail out, and place your Crew Core. Outsiders can't build within 24 blocks of it.

Survive Saturday

Raid other crews, sink their core, and defend your own. Can't make it? Your captain can buy a raid shield.

You spawn in a safe harbor with a boat, some bread and The Pirate's Code, a three-page guide. No manuals.

The fleet

One ship per crew. Make it a big one.

Buy a ship from the Harbormaster and upgrade it as your crew gets richer. Everyone aboard gets a seat on deck. On Plunder Night, press F to fire the cannons. Sink an enemy ship and its cargo spills into the sea for anyone to grab.

How raiding works

The rules of the sea

The Crew Core

A conduit that anchors your base. On Plunder Night, raiders have to land enough hits, or TNT, to sink it. Your crew gets an alert the moment it's under attack.

Raid shields

Busy on Saturday? Your captain buys a shield during the week and your base sits the night out. The catch: shielded crews can't raid either, and nobody gets two nights in a row.

The harbor

Spawn is a harbor with docks and a lighthouse. Nobody can build, fight or blow things up there, even on Plunder Night.

Notoriety

Every raid adds to your crew's score. After each Plunder Night the whole server hears who the most feared crews were.
